Mortgage Loan Application & Approval
Unless you are paying cash for your home, the next step in the process is to complete a mortgage application to finance your new home. It is important that the loan approval process be started and completed as soon as possible. Therefore, we ask that the application for a mortgage be made within three (3) days of your Purchase Agreement.
We appreciate that some of our customers have their own banking relationships and may prefer to use their own lending sources. However, as a service to our customers, we have relationships with lenders who are prepared to offer you preferred interest rates, as well as other benefits, as a Kensington Home purchaser. Please consult with your sales professional to determine the most current preferred lender incentive.

Your mortgage company will keep you abreast of the process of your loan application and, upon approval, will provide you with a mortgage commitment letter. Please provide us with a copy of the mortgage commitment letter as soon as you receive it.
